The answer depends on one detail in Wizards' announcement: the later WPN route applies to non-foil copies of Secret Lair x Stardew Valley: Welcome to Stardew Valley, not to the full three-drop non-foil bundle^[1].

That distinction does most of the buying work. The bundle contains Welcome to Stardew Valley, Life in Pelican Town, and A Flicker in the Deep^[1]. The WPN note covers the first of those three. Waiting for stores may therefore make sense for a buyer who mostly wants the new Stardew Valley land, Sol Ring, Swords to Plowshares, and the other cards in the Welcome drop.
